   I finished paying for my house over twenty years ago why can't I get my title?

   Ans
  There are various reasons why titles may not be available for a particular development. The specific
              reasons vary across developments. Accordingly clients should contact the Legal department for a
              response.


   We live on government lands for over twenty years and we have been asked to move, but we
   have nowhere to live, who could we speak to on the matter?

   Ans.
  Visit the corporate office and discuss the matter with a legal officer


    What are the benefits that the ministry has to offer that I can access

    Ans
  a.     Sale of Housing Solutions and serviced lots for residential and commercial uses at
                       reduced prices compared to market values.

               b.    Joint Venture partnerships wit private entities for the development of Ministry owned lands.

               c.    Facilitator partnerships with private entities for the development of privately owned land.


   Does the Ministry provide loans for building on your own land?

    Ans
  No. In the past the ministry had a programme of that nature but operation of same ceased in the 1980s.


   When I purchase a lot from the ministry, how soon will I receive my title?

    Ans
  Persons should refer to the Legal Department on all queries regarding title availability.


    Why has the ministry ceased building houses and providing mortgages?

    Ans
  Other agencies have been create to take over that portfolio (e.g. N.H.D.C., NHT etc). The ministry
              however acts as a facilitator through he Joint Venture programme by providing the land for the
              construction of houses.


    What time frame do I have to complete payment for the lot I am purchasing

   Ans
  The ministry markets its solutions to each person for cash. However, after six months has elapsed,
              the outstanding balance attracts interest rates of 15% per annum on residential lots and 18% on
              commercial lots
